Published by Jeanne Allie (A0.899948).Beginner level arrangement of this popular Christmas/wintertime song. Written for right hand only, this piece begins with the hand in A minor position. It has one position change when preparing for the run, and the run includes a typical '1 crosses under the 3' change, as well as two accidentals. Then the hand position returns to A minor for the return to the first theme to end the piece. This piece is easily learned by students at the beginner level. I have two more arrangements, both in A minor, one at the late elementary level and one at the intermediate level. Students recognize the eighth note run, as it's the same for each arrangement, and this is very motivating and reassuring to them. My students enjoy 'collecting' these arrangements as they advance, as the holiday season rolls around again and they are ready to learn the next arrangement.
