Nicolas Louis de Lacaille included it on his planisphere, describing it as a surveyor’s level to go along with Circinus and Norma. Petrus Plancius put it on his globe, and Johann Bayer featured it in his Uranometria. The third player moves seat from the lowest notes in the bass to the highest in treble. This player can decide to stand or have a chair at each end. From “88 Constellations” a collection by Heather Cattanach featuring one piece of piano music for each of the 88 constellations (to match the number of keys on a standard piano).
