Composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Arranged by Darrell Goforth. Classical,Instructional,Standards. 42 pages. Darrell Harrison Goforth #432849. Published by Darrell Harrison Goforth (A0.747383).

Written in 1786, "The Marriage of Figaro" is one of Mozart's best loved operas and the Overture is often performed on its own. It is, of course, a delightful piece and has been set in many different formats. I have recently become acquainted with the flute choir and find it a very rich medium in which to work. The many forms of flute offer a range of color not found in other instrumental families. I have found this medium very rewarding and plan to continue with it in many more arrangements. This piece would be ideal as a teaching tool for more advanced instruction or even as a concert or recital piece.
