Wonderfully packaged and presented
I am thrilled with this purchase for my great nephew. Sending to him so cannot at this stage say much more except I think it is well-presented and enticing to a student of the cello, particularly also having the CD.

Worth the money
My son loves his cello and his LOTR. I bought this not knowing what to expect, but my son loves it. He plays his cello more often now which makes me happy. He says its very good sheet music with most of the 'good' melodies from LOTR.

Love This
Howard Shore clearly loves the cello! I have been playing for about a month, and was able to read and play (roughly for now) the cello solos (I haven't tried the piano parts yet). If you are a fan of the LOTR movies, you will especially have fun playing from this book. The toughest part was picking out what to learn first. The CD comes with a version of each song that includes the solo, and one without (to play along). Lots of fun and helpful for learning.
