This collection of 5 violin duets was written by a violin instructor to play with her students. The "primo" parts are solos, suitable for beginning players -- they only use "high 2s" and each piece features a different skill (such as double stops or right hand pizzicatos), presented in an accessible way. The "secondo" parts are designed for an instructor or advanced student to provide accompaniment for the primo player.
Individual pieces (which are sold and can be heard individually on Sheet Music Plus as well): 1. The Purple Zebra (features LH pizzicatos in the solo part) 2. The Pink Dolphin (features legato playing across all 4 strings in solo part) 3. The Yellow Chinchilla (features triplets and double stops in the solo part) 4. The Green Monkeys (features double stops and sixteenth notes in the solo part) 5. The Blue Lady Bug (solo part alternates between high and low twos)
