A must have book for piano students

I am an adult piano student and have been taking lessons for a few years. I have had a lot of trouble with proper piano technique, which I think is due to the fact that I am a professional software developer. The hand position and movements for typing are absolutely contrary to those required for proper piano technique.My piano teacher recommended that we use this book to work on my technique. I couldn't be more impressed with the pieces in this book.The pieces force you to re-evaluate your technique and really make you aware of problem areas. The book does not provide solutions, of course - your piano teacher needs to give that guidance. However, the book is helping me to improve my hand position, fingering, and (most importantly), to keep my fingers on the keys.The book has a number of pieces for beginning/intermediate students like myself, as well as many that are well beyond my current reach.
