THE GOLDEN J WALTZ was composed as a piano solo in three-four time in about a week. It is dedicated to a dear friend, Jason who celebrated his 50th birthday.
It begins in the key of E flat and has three themes: Theme A is heard three times, Theme B is heard five times (for 5 decades), Theme C is heard once as a transition to a new key of F Major.
The sheet music is clearly notated with dynamic and articulation marks, phrasing, pedal indications, chord identifications, suggested fingerings and appropriate musical terms for playing.
