Derek Hasted writes "This well-known Christmas song makes a straightforward, accessible and rich sounding piece for guitar quartet or a large ensemble. There are two verses, and the second has a thicker, fuller sound. It connects straight away with the audience and it's a great piece for a school concert or for an easy-to-play piece for adult novices and intermediates. As with all my arrangements, this one has been tried and tested in concert and it's proved a popular piece in my annual Christmas Concert for charity.
