Composed by Sharon Fendrich. 20th Century,Contemporary,Folk,New Age. Score. 5 pages. Sharon Fendrich #6342857. Published by Sharon Fendrich (A0.944600).

From the multi-award winning 2019 New Age Neo-Classical album, Red Sky Prairie. Beautiful, flowing, contemplative solo piano piece ideal for weddings, services, solo performances. Composer influences: David Lanz, Jim Brickman, Ludovico Einaudi, Enya. 10 additional titles from the album are available.

The piece begins just as September 11, 2001 did in the USA. The morning sun rises, a beautiful day lies ahead. Then suddenly everything changes. The melodic theme takes us out of the darkness and onto a brighter path guided by the forging of togetherness, hope and strength. When sung the lyrics are: Hearts broken, tears fall. In darkness we can’t find hope. Out of grief, hope and strength are forged. Through shadow shines a light so bright. Voices cry out you must go on. Hope will hold our hearts. Together we found a way that September day.
