Teachi-tearu was commissioned by the Komazawa University High school band. They requested an Okinawa folk song in jazz style, so the themes of "Teachi-tearu" and "Tinsagunu Flower" are quoted. There are two sections in this piece; one is lively in a swing style, and the other is lyrical with a lot of expression in the middle. Both are enjoyable. Feel free to improvise ad libitum according to the music.
