"Sawmill Gulch" is composed in honor of Montana's Rattlesnake Recreation and Wilderness Areas. To celebrate the pristine natural wildness of the Rattlesnake I chose a memory shared by many who recreate in the Rattlasnake. A spring day of moutain biking. The Ponderosa Pines releasing their coniferous pollen. A cool breeze wafting the scent of vanilla down the valley. Riding out of town, up into the forests, the long climb over the pass, then a nice cruise all the way home.
