Composed by David F Wainwright. 20th Century,Standards. Score and parts. 29 pages. D F Wainwright #3473157. Published by D F Wainwright (A0.771477).

Changing times was part of a series of pieces aimed at preparing young players for the way music was written in the late twentieth century. Its harmonic structure was also intended to prepare the ear for 20th century sounds while remaining playable within their limited technique. It was featured several times in concerts in the concert hall of the Royal Northern College of Music. It takes the form of a concerto grosso, with a concertante group (string quartet) and ripieno strings. Its duration is 3 minutes. david@spring quartet.co.uk ; www.springquartet.co.uk
