Commissioned by the Highland Festival, Stuart MacRae 's work Salm 42 is a Gaelic setting of Psalm 42 and was first performed on 5th June 1999 at Eden Court Theatre, Inverness by the combined Gaelic Choirs of Inverness, Dingwall and Nairn. This work is arranged for Unaccompanied SATB Choir and lasts around 4 minutes. Composer Stuart MacRae began receiving high-profile commissions at a young age, from organisations like the BBC and the London Sinfonietta.
