Pepper band, and incorporating a broad diversity of styles (from classical music to avant-garde), new sound effects and technology, the album became a defining moment of the 1960s, and had an impact on pop culture that's hard to overstate.

After release, "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" topped the charts for weeks in both the US and the UK.
It won four Grammy Awards in 1968, and remains one of the best-selling albums of all time with over 32 million copies sold worldwide!
