Composed of three movements, this piece will challenge many pianists technically and expressively. Each movement explores the different aspects of being secluded from society; heart-wrenching loneliness in the first movement, furious activity in the second movement, and dream-like acceptance in the third movement. This music is a good addition to any piano recital, or a full performance of solely this work. This is the second movement of the sonata.
