Born in 1943, Robin Nelson was educated at Calday Grange Grammar School and Cambridge University, where he read music. A long career in teaching followed, including a 21 year period as Director of Music at Marlborough College, Wiltshire.
In addition he has been an Associated Board examiner, lecturer and adjudicator. Robin now runs courses in music appreciation from his home in Avebury, Wiltshire. Works include a long list of carols and anthems, two large scale cantatas and several shorter choral works.
