A great new march from our own ?maestro? Wim Laseroms. The powerful introduction introduces a cheerful melody which leads into a brilliant bass solo. Following a beautiful lyrical passage, with the melodic line mainly in the descant, the trio section introduces a new cantabile theme featuring a dynamic variation. The work is brought to a brilliant conclusion with a rousing melody. This march would be a great opener to any concert or contest situation.

Ein lebhafter Marsch von Wim Laseroms nach einem gelungenen Rezept: Auf eine solide Einleitung folgt eine fröhliche, dynamisch abwechslungsreiche Melodie. Neben einem brillanten Basssolo weist die zweite Reprise eine lyrische Kontinuität auf, wobei die Melodielinie hauptsächlich im Diskant liegt. Im Trio tritt ein neues kantables, wiederum dynamisch variierendes Thema auf. Das Triothema kehrt während einer Marcato-Passage wieder. Ein Da Capo verleiht dem Marsch einen angemessenen Schluss.

Après une introduction puissante, la musique développe une ligne mélodique pétillante soulignée par une variation de nuances. La seconde reprise progresse dans la même veine lyrique : la ligne mélodique se développe dans le déchant tandis qu’un brillant solo de basse ponctue la trame sonore. Le trio dévoile un nouveau thème joué cantabile. On y perçoitde nouvelles variations de nuances. Le passage marcato reprend la mélodie du trio et progresse vers le Da Capo final qui conclut l’œuvre avec brio.
