Bellavista ist ein besonders melodisches Werk. Auf eine signalartige Eröffnung folgt ein fröhliches, leicht synkopisch strukturiertes Thema. Ein solides Basssolo voll dynamischer Kontraste bildet die Überleitung zu einer schönen kantablen Melodielinie, die durch den Trio-Satz führt. Auch hier dominieren starke Kontraste zwischen piano und forte. In einer marcato vorgetragenen Phrase wird das melodische Trio noch einmal wiederholt. Kontrastreiche, schöne Marschmusik, die gefällt und die dynamischen Qualitäten Ihrer Musiker gut zur Geltung bringt.
