WAKUWAKU Piano Technique Book is a series of piano technique books for children to learn how to "give expression to sounds" using simple notes and subjects that can be imagined from their daily life. It is ideal for ages 4 to 10 years old, and they can learn basic piano playing techniques with short pieces of 4 to 8 bars. They can train both hands in the same way using large musical notations. All pieces are in the key of C major, and some transposition exercises, which have 1 piece each in major and minor keys, are available as additional. Each book is sectioned into 7 or 8 steps. The techniques in each step are simple and clear, and the steps are divided according to the purpose of the exercise, gradually expanding the range and becoming more detailed in note value and rhythm. Each step has 7 pieces. The book provides an easy-to-understand practice plan for children, like "one piece every day, one step per week."Each piece has a theme title based on everyday life and includes the illustrations of the theme.
