By Sophie Ellis-Bextor. By Sophie Ellis-Bextor. Arranged by Emiliano Petronilli. This edition: pdf. Disco, Funk, Pop. Lead Sheet / Fake Book. 4 pages. Emiliano Petronilli #1122212. Published by Emiliano Petronilli (A0.1549845).
This is a transcription in leadsheet format for keyboard in a cover band: it is designed as an aid for performing the song in a live setting, using keyboards to reproduce as much as possible of the original recording.
Sound cues are indicated in the score as well as the main melodic lines which the keyboard player would be required to perform.
Depending on the keyboard player's skill and on how much the song is produced in a studio, it is sometimes ok to leave some parts out: remember that a leadsheet is only an aid to render the studio sound as much as possible in a live setting.
Chord symbols and rhythmic ostinatos when present are also indicated.
I hope you find my leadsheets as useful as I do when out gigging with the band.
Enjoy.
