was based on Numbers 12: 1-16 in a sermon preached by our Fort Myers Florida senior pastor Dr. Paul de Jong on June 4, 2023. It is a ballad for one or two voices with piano, or organ or guitar accompaniment. Its six verses tell the tale of what happened to Miriam, Moses' sister when she put up a great fuss when her famous brother married a black woman. It is a lesson from Bible times, that racism is unacceptable.
