The first performance will take place on 29 May in Brixen Cathedral. The solemn mass for choir, organ and winds can be performed using a flexible ensemble. The basic scoring calls for a mixed choir and organ. The range of the individual singing voices is limited and the musical shape of the parts is simple and clearly laid out, so that an amateur choir can sing the entire mass (including solos) chorally.
