These first compositions by Mozart as a child brought insight to his genius from the early years. They are already perfect in form and harmonic structure with delightful melodies. The minuets have been edited with performance directions and markings not commonly found in many original editions. They are most likely not penned down by Mozart, but are most likely how they were to be played on the early instrument. These would make it clearer for the young and less experienced players on how it is to be played, especially with regards to articulations and phrasing.
