Instrumentation requires 1 alto, 2 tenors, baritone and bass saxophone, 5 trumpets, 4 horns in F, 4 trombones, tuba, piano, bass and drums. This is exactly as recorded on the Adventures in Jazz CD. There is solo space for trombone (written) and tenor saxophone (improvised). 5-5-5-3.
