While residing in Antwerp in 1551, Susato composed a collection of sixty popular dances for a four-part instrumental group titled La Danserye. Peter Fielding has selected and deftly arranged six of the most often performed of these Renaissance dances into a suite for 4-part Trombone Ensemble of advanced performers:

2. Salterelle [Hupfauf]
3. Danse de Hercules oft matricine [Herkulestanz] (Dance of Hercules)
4. Bergerette sans roch [Schäfertanz] (Shepherd Dance)
5. Reprise [Nachtanz] (After Dance)
6. Pavane La Battaille [Die Schlacht] (The Battle)
The 1st part has separate parts in alto and tenor clefs.
