In 1551 while residing in Antwerp, Susato composed a collection of sixty popular dances, La Danserye for a four-part instrumental group. Andrew Poirier has selected and deftly arranged eight of these Renaissance dances titled The Danserye Suite for 13-part Symphonic Brass Ensemble and Percussion for advanced performers:

6. Ronde & Aliud
7. Basse danse: Mon desir
8. Pavane: La Battaille
Instrumentation is for: 4 Trumpets (incl. Piccolo & Flugelhorns), 4 Horns, 3 Trombones with opt. Euphonium, Tuba, Percussion (3 performers).
Mr. Poirier's arrangement is the first for this sized group and is dedicated to the Vancouver Brass Orchestra debut performance in 2019.
The first movement, La Mourisque is beautifully performed by the VBO on the soundtrack sample below.
