This short, joyful song was inspired by the account of Jesus' resurrection as recorded in Matthew 28:1-6. Though arranged as a vocal solo with straight-forward piano accompaniment (guitar chords included), this piece is also an excellent choice for a children's choir with the children singing unison on the chorus and soloists singing the three short verses. Set in the key of F major, the vocal range is from middle C to the second D above (C4-D5).

This arrangement is one of the four songs in the children's musical program titled "Ten Minute Praise in Scripture and Song--Jesus Is Risen."
