Too Much of a Good Thing
This strand of books provides an over abundance of pure and applied technical material. The teacher may need to use some selectivity in assigning this material. Few students wiuld be able to plow threw all of it. The problem is that every bit of it is well worth including in a students study. Perhaps the best use of the book is on a need basis. Examine the topic, test the students command of that area of technique, and assign studies appropriately. It appears that the books were designed with that approach in mind.
