Images and Recollections is a set of ten pieces for solo piano at the intermediate level, ideal as teaching pieces and for performances on student recitals. All ten pieces are 1-2 pages, generally 2 minutes or less each in length. Some of the pieces expose students to contemporary compositional and playing techniques, but in an accessible way. Among those are sympathetic vibrations, chance, playing with the palms, and creating an original accompaniment to a melody based on pitch sets.
