Follow Where I Lead
“ . . . willing to keep the commandments of the Father?” (2 Nephi 31:10)
With full purpose of heart, with no hypocrisy,
Follow the strait and narrow path; follow where I lead.
O, repent of your sins, acting with honesty,
Witnessing at my Father’s side, with humility.
Will ye take of my Name, according to God’s word?
Will ye receive of baptism, so ye may return?
O, then ye shall have light, light that will be conferred.
Only through baptism of fire will each heart be stirred.
Enter in by the way; press forward to the end.
Then through exact obedience, favors will attend.
O, follow where I lead, so I can call thee blessed,
Giving ye all my Father has . . . then ye shall ascend.
Follow where I lead, where there’s only love.
Follow to my Father’s side . . . love from up above.
