Creole Trombone is a jazz composition with ragtime and New Orleans overtones written by Kid Ory and first recorded in 1921. It was one of the first recordings of a black orchestra. He recorded the piece several times, including one with Louis Armstrong.
Jeremy Kempton has made a great arrangement for Trombone Quartet for moderately advanced performers including an open 8-bar solo section.
