Gabbard (A0.1496021).I composed this 10-part suite for advanced solo piano after my first trip to Crater Lake National Park in July 2024. It was a spectacular place to visit and made a significant and memorable impression, which I have tried to capture in this suite. The suite is largely set in a minor and uses the keys of a, C, and F as the main keys, with some diversions into d minor, f minor, E-flat, and D-flat Major in a few places. Extended performance notes are included on p. 2 of the score. The 10 parts are:

III. The Sun Notch and Cleetwood Cove Trails
IV. The Phantom Ship
V. The Pumice Castle
VI. Llao and Skell
VII. Wizard Island
VIII. The Old Man of the Lake
