Composed by Edward MacDowell. Arranged by Lisa Ochoco. Romantic Period. 13 pages. Lisa L Ochoco #5712163. Published by Lisa L Ochoco (A0.559917).

Edward MacDowell was a very celebrated American composer and pianist who lived in the Romantic period. He also used the pseudonym Edgar Thron. Cradle Song is a beautiful piece that MacDowell wrote at about the time his wife suffered an illness that resulted in her being unable to bear children. This piece is quite beautiful, and would be a good filler for your recitals - a piece to play in between the difficult & showy ones.

This arrangement is for 3 Bb and bass clarinets. There is an optional alto part that can be played in lieu of the bass.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
