This concert, composed between october and november 2022, was designed for five timpani and has a structure in three movements.
The prelude in fact wants to recall the primordial use of the timpani on horseback and the piano suonds very percussive.
The second movement is a minuet with a festive atmosphere, and wants to reproduce in a imaginative way the return of troops on horseback.
The last movement wants to represent musically the colors of the dawn of the next day.
