Based on the polymodal movement of my first string quartet (1997), this work has the clarinet playing its solo in Dorian mode while the other instruments accompany it in Octatonic mode. Only in the final chord does the clarinet join the others in their mode. Performers: The Budapest wind quartet, comprising Flute: Ildikó Szabady Oboe: Márton Belek Clarinet: Hunor Egyed Bassoon: Kristóf Szilágyi.
