Yorkshireman Arthur Wood (1875-1953) wrote many orchestral pieces alongside his work as a London theatre director. 'Barwick Green (Maypole Dance)' is a movement from his 'My Native Heath' a suite which portrays different aspects of Yorkshire, and which, for UK listeners, has become immortalised as the theme tune for the radio drama 'The Archers'.
Janet Bullard has a busy and thriving piano teaching practice and many years’ experience of teaching adults and children. Alan Bullard is a pianist, composer and arranger whose music is performed widely.
