Composed by Claude Debussy. Arranged by Ralph Sauer. 19th Century. Score and part. 16 pages. Gordon Cherry #908667. Published by Gordon Cherry (A0.1320137).

Arabesque and Danse bohémienne are two lovely early piano works by Claude Debussy that arranger Ralph Sauer has melded together into a suite for Trombone and Piano suitable for moderately advanced performers.

Arabesque is number one of two that the composer wrote between 1888 and 1891. It is one of the very early impressionist pieces of music. Debussy seems to wander through modes and keys and achieves evocative scenes throughout. (Wikipedia)

Danse bohémienne is his earliest work for piano from 1880, written while he was acting as house pianist for Tchaikovsky's patroness, Nadezhad von Meck. It is a rhythmic and energetic work that was not published until after Debussy's death.
