Composed by Emily Wood. Christian,Contemporary,Sacred. Score. 7 pages. Emily Sue Wood #59215. Published by Emily Sue Wood (A0.907116).

A piece with a unique, angelic character for soprano and piano, "Agnus Dei, Redemptor" is in both Latin and English. The Latin text translates to: "Lamb of God, have mercy on us. Lamb of God, Who takes away the sins of the world. Redeemer! Glory!" The text is both a cry of repentance and a song of thankfulness for God's grace and redemption through Jesus. This piece is perfect for a church offertory or any occasion that calls for thoughtful worship music. Vocal pitch ranges from the B flat below middle C to the A natural above treble C. The piano accompaniment is fairly straightforward and often echoes the vocal part. About 5 minutes long, written in 2015. The composer is playing and singing the first half of the song in the attached recording. (Facebook page: Music by Emily Wood; eswoodmusic@gmail.com).
