El pasillo fué compuesto por Félix Ramírez compositor, cantante y guitarrista de Támesis Antioquia. Se llamó originalmente Adiós Ángela; en las casas disqueras y no les gustó por el ritmo, pues era un pasillo; entonces después lo cambiaron y en lugar de Adiós Ángela, se llamó Adiós madre mía, cuya grabación en LP Vol. 4 Sonolux LP 12-132 fue realizada por Garzón y Collazos.
