Published by Martyn Johnson (A0.1357202).This composition of mine is a slightly up tempo waltz with a bit of a swing to it ie tied triplets. It is a cheerful waltz but quite schmaltzy and nostalgic too. I take it through the 2 keys of F major and Gb major. I do use 10ths quite a bit in my playing but they can easily be replaced with single bass notes or octaves as required.
I don't indicate pedaling, fingering or dynamics as no two piano teachers ever agree on such things and I prefer to entrust the tunes interpretation to the individual pianist. Likewise the suggested tempo is not written in stone.
I enjoyed writing this waltz and hope it brings a similar pleasure to anyone who learns to play it.
