Composed by Franz Schubert (1797 - 1828). Arranged by Pat Spence. 19th Century,Chamber,Instructional,Romantic Period. Score and part. 44 pages. Piper Publications #772359. Published by Piper Publications (A0.1172095).

This sonata, originally for violin and piano, is the second of a pair which though composed in 1816, were not published until 1836 as Opus 137 numbers 1 and 2.  The style is Romantic with some progressive harmonies particularly in the first two movements followed by a Classical style Menuetto and Trio and a rondo like finale.

A very enjoyable four movement sonata for players from advanced intermediate standard.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
