Beatrice is the jazz standard composed by Sam Rivers. This arrangement features a combined Rhythm Section part with clear chord spellings and rhythmic cues for bass guitar, drum kit, guitar, and piano. Additionally, the arranger has included original backing parts for alto saxophone, tenor saxophone, and trombone. The horn parts include divisi voices in harmony allowing a choice of which horn plays lead or harmony, or each horn part can also play the tune’s melody.
