With the movie taking sophomoric humour to the maximum, the score intentionally takes the subject more seriously, focusing on the core disaster story with militaristic motifs, and the love relationship between the two leads with a sappy romantic theme. Created from the original manuscript, this release offers a rare opportunity to study film music in its authentic, original orchestration and arrangement. An opportunity not to be missed!
