Published by Brock Lupton (A0.942427).The "K" and "L" numbers are the numbers assigned to this sonata in the catalogues of Scarlatti's sonatas compiled respectively by Ralph Kirkpatrick and Alessandro Longo. This will distinguish the sonata from other Scarlatti sonatas in the same key. Ralph Kirkpatrick believes that the sonatas were intended by the composer to be performed in pairs. This sonata may be paired in performance with Sonata 14: my arrangement of that sonata is available through SMP.
