Composed by Vernon Taranto Jr. Chamber,Classical,Contemporary. Individual part. 10 pages. Vernon Taranto Jr #6734211. Published by Vernon Taranto Jr (A0.923934).With the severe limitations inflicted upon rehearsal and performance opportunities by the Covid 19 pandemic, instrumentalists find a greater need for unaccompanied literature for the soloist. Four Meditations was composed expressly to expand the solo repertoire for cellists who wish to add something fresh to their offerings when performing alone.
Four Meditations explores a possible introspective universe marked by gateways and passages sought by those who desire to leave the mundane while seeking the spiritual through meditation. This work may be performed in its entirety, or presented in single movements as the occasion demands. Like many other "classic" unaccompanied cello pieces, the artist may make Four Meditations a personal, private journey to achieving artistic perfection.
This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
