This work is a tribute to the writer Carlos Durão Rodrigues (*Madrid, 1943), distinguished member of the Grammar Commission of the Academia Galega da Língua Portuguesa. Since he appreciates my works and we are academic colleagues, we shared some creative conversations that inspired this Duo. The work builds on the complexes {3,3,2,3}, {2,2,3,2,2,1,3,3}, {6,5} and {9,7} in 5 sections in a gentle increasing gradation until the final outcome.
The original version is for C Bagpipe Duo. There is also another version for Flute and/or Violin Duo. The original version is in a different tessitura.

Por ser apreciador das minhas obras e sermos colegas académicos, partilhamos algumas conversas criativas que inspiraram este Duo.
