Der bereits legendäre Chordirigent der Avantgarde wird 80 Jahre alt: Clytus Gottwald, Gründer und langjähriger Dirigent der Schola Cantorum Stuttgart. Ebenso bekannt wie gern gesungen sind inzwischen seine Bearbeitungen von Werken für Chor. Diese Ausgabe präsentiert Gottwalds Bearbeitung von Liedern seines Freundes Heinz Holliger. Die atmosphärisch gelösten "Zwei Jugendlieder" nach Christian Morgenstern sind dabei nicht allein musikalische Leckerbissen, sie verstehen sich vielmehr auch als Niederschlag einer langen Künstlerfreundschaft, die bis zur Uraufführung von Holligers "Dona nobis pacem" (ED 6455) durch Gottwald ins Jahr 1968 zurückreicht.
