I have been a music teacher for over 25 years and this is one music resource that I would not be without. Every year my year 4 students do a unit of work on World music and I use this game as part of the course. My students absolutely love...

the challenge of playing this game. It develops the children's auditory skills and fosters a wonderful appreciation for the diverse range of folk instruments from around the world. The CD has outstanding examples of traditional folk instruments playing authentic samples of music from the country of origin such as the balalaika from Russia, the cuica from Brazil, and the ehru from China. This game really helps to broaden the children's understanding and recognition of musical instruments from other cultures.
