    All the pieces in this collection are of the highest quality. I was very happy to find these gems of beautiful pieces! The pieces are at intermediate - late intermediate level. Some are harder than the rest like Fanny Mendelssohn's Fugue. Students could enjoy studying out of this book for...

    a few years (and enjoy playing these pieces for many years!)These composers should be better known and part of the standard teaching repertoire. It's great to have this easily-available, reasonably-priced collection, along with "At the Piano with Women Composers".
