Arranged by Joel Jacklich (ASCAP). Romantic Period. Score and parts. 41 pages. Joel Jacklich #4766867. Published by Joel Jacklich (A0.723145).

Wein, Weib und Gesang (Wine, Woman, and Song), Op. 333, is a Viennese Waltz by Johann Strauss II. It is a choral waltz in its original form,[1]although it is seldom heard in this version today. It was commissioned for the Vienna Men's Choral Association's so-called Fools' Evening on 2 February 1869 with a dedication to the Association's honorary chorus-master Johann Herbeck. Its fanciful title was drawn from an old adage: "Who loves not wine, women and song remains a fool his whole life long."

Excellent for receptions, dinner music, or dancing, this arrangement sticks fairly closely to the original orchestral string parts except where necessary to cover missing wind instruments.  Page turns in the individual parts have been carefully planned out.    .

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
